About the role
As a Senior Data Scientist at VENZO, you’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering high-quality data and AI solutions for our clients.
You’ll combine deep technical expertise with a consulting mindset — leading by example, designing scalable architectures, and helping clients transform data into insights and measurable business outcomes.
Your role will be split between hands-on delivery and strategic development. You’ll both build and guide – ensuring excellence across projects while contributing to VENZO’s evolving data and AI offerings.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end development of data science and AI solutions — from proof-of-concept to production deployment and monitoring.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for our clients, bridging business challenges and analytical solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous development of VENZO’s service offerings and concepts within data science, AI, and analytics.
- Mentor and collaborate with other data scientists and engineers to ensure delivery quality, technical alignment, and shared growth.
- Ensure client satisfaction by driving impactful, high-quality deliverables within scope and budget.

What you bring
Experience & Education:
- 5+ years developing machine learning solutions in production, including experience with generative AI applications
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience leading technical workstreams or mentoring data scientists
Technical Stack:
- Languages & Core Tools: Python and SQL proficiency with modern ML libraries
- Cloud & Platforms: Microsoft Azure services and Databricks platform
- ML & AI: Classical machine learning frameworks and generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation)
- Data & Infrastructure: Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with large-scale datasets
- MLOps & Engineering: Model lifecycle management, orchestration tools, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices
Consulting and Leadership:
- Strong consulting and communication skills — translating complex technical insights into clear business value
- Structured, analytical approach to designing scalable and maintainable solutions
- Comfortable presenting to both technical teams and business stakeholders
